Softcover. Condition: Very Good. First edition. Slim octavo. 63pp. Unprinted wrappers with integral just jacket. Wrappers with light soil and wear, including a tiny stain on the lower wrap and a tiny tear near the spine, glue used to adhere the dust jacket has bled through a bit onto the lower wrap and final blank leaf, very good or better. Inscribed to noted film critic Pauline Kael on the title page, and with a cheeky note on the facing page: "some errors have been corrected - omissions the reader will be grateful for." Seldes has made three corrections in the text. An excellent association between two noted critics; some have called Kael a "descendent" of Seldes.
