Shaun illuiminatges these men through his photographs and L'Erin commemorates them with narrative." In December 1996, we decided to create a book honoring 21 African-American men in Seattle who are making adifference in their communities. We were determined to help destroy the negative images and stereotypes associated with Black men." [from the Introduction] Those others who have inscribed their photos are the following: Christopher Daigre, Carver Clark Gayton, Claude Harris, Carl Bernard Mack, Ron Sims, and Arthur Douglas Wheeler.
