Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No jacket. Published by Frederick Warne in 1905. Size: 20 x 26 cms or 8 x 10 1/4 inches. Page number: 20. Thick card pages illustrate to children the origins of the things that they are commonly exposed to in life: wool, milk, tea, eggs, salt, bread honey etc. The language…is poetic. 12 of the pages are full-colour; 8 are sepia coloured. Condition: Very Good. The cover is slightly worn and grubby. The corners are rubbed. Remnants of old sellotape remain on the boards and first and last pages. The red cloth spine is slightly damaged at the top. The pages within are occasionally marked but in the main clean. There edges of the pages are faintly browned.
