First Edition
unbound. Condition: fine. Marc Chagall (illustrator). First. Full-page unsigned black & white lithograph measuring 31.8 x 24.3 cm, printed in Paris by Mourlot Freres in 1960 for Andre Sauret, Monte Carlo. Paper very slightly toned, still a near fine copy. -- Cramer no. 43; Mourlot no. 291. Between 1960 and 1974 Chagall created 28 full-page original lithographs to be included in the monumental six volume catalogue raisonne of his lithographic work; this piece from Chagall Lithographe volume I [1922-1957].
