    Softcover. Condition: Good. 18pp booklet in stiff card covers with French flaps. Black and white photographic plate illustrations and one fold-out sketch map of old Ely at rear. 12mo. Card covers worn, a little rubbed and toned at edges. Some faint spotting on first few leaves, and the number 2/6 written in red ink at the top of the title page else internally neat, clean and tight. A narrative account of the history of the city of Ely in the fens, from Anglp-Saxon times when St Etheldreda founded a monastery near the village of Cratendune in AD 673 to the middle of the 19th century.
