- 1 large 8vo volume of 12 ff n. ch. (Dedication, preface and contents) + 442 pages (text in two columns). 25 folding engravings outside the text including 4 maps. Engravings mainly by L.M. DUMESNIL, engraved by J. CARWITHAM. 1 engraving after RAPHAEL (Melchizedek) and a magnificent Crucifixion after RUBENS. The engraving "Adam and Eve" is detached (torn off), without a tear on the engraving, and "Noah's Ark" has been repaired (old stitching). The frontispiece engraving is missing. The binding (a more recent simple slipcase) is very damaged and cannot be reused. But the interior of the work is in good condition and would deserve a new binding. Handwritten bookplate on the endpaper.
