Green cloth-covered boards, bevelled board edges; blind-embossed design on front and spine, gilt titles on spine; patterned endpapers. 8vo. Sun-faded spine, rubbed corners and spine ends with cloth worn through. Top text block edge dust damaged, remaining edges tanning. Endpapers tanning; bookplate on front pastedown; previous owner's name and newspaper clipping taped to front free endpaper; front hinge cracked and strained, volume loose. Otherwise internally neat, clean and bright.

Reprinted by subscription. viii + 340pp + 22 pages of adverts at end; list of native and foreign makers; index; folded frontispiece plate; illustrated with facsimiles of tickets, sound holes etc. Original green cloth with blindstamped patterning to covers and gilt lettering to spine. Some underlining and marginal markings, otherwise near VG.
