Cloth. Condition: Good. No Jacket. The former owner folded the dust jacket and placed it in the book and the front is missing the top half but the back and both flaps are missing some pieces but over all intact. The covers and spine have moderate wear, there is a name written on the top of the front end page and there is discoloration around both hinges and the pages are clean. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 2nd Edition. "Ole Miss" by Nash Buckingham is presented as a hardcover edition, second printing, published by Putnam in 1946. The book features brown cloth with gold spine lettering and gold duck etchings on the front cover, creating an aesthetically pleasing appearance. Overall, the book is in Good+ condition, accompanied by a G- dust jacket. The covers are generally well-maintained, with some minor issues noted. The spine ends are slightly indented, and the lower rear corner is bumped. Despite these flaws, the binding remains square and tight, ensuring the structural integrity of the book. A bookplate is fixed to the front paste-down, and minor abrasion is observed on the front flyleaf. Foxing is present on the paste-downs and endpapers, consistent with the book's age.Inside, the interior pages are clean and unmarked, preserving the readability of the text. However, the dust jacket exhibits more noticeable wear, including a chip at the head of the spine measuring about 1 x 1 1/2 inches. Additionally, there is general shelf wear along the jacket edges. The dust jacket is price-clipped.Rest assured, the book will be meticulously packaged for shipment to ensure protection from the elements. A USPS electronic tracking number will be provided free of charge for your convenience. If you require further information or additional pictures regarding the book, please do not hesitate to contact us.
