Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: No DJ. No date specified, dedication in ink on ffep reads: "Best Wishes for 1905. Xmas 1904". Boards lightly smudged, rubbed on ends of spine, tear (3/4 inch) at head of spine, else very good. Pages spotless and binding firm. Twelve beautiful colour illustrations, including frontispiece portrait of author.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. White oil cloth with gilt lettering and pink and green floral decoration. Small scuff to front board, minor general wear. Text is clean and bright, no marks. Illustrated with eleven gorgeous full page full-color illustrations of birds and flowers and frontispiece portrait of Holmes. Small decorations in green throughout.
