The boards are clean and bright with only a tiny amount of discolouration to the top edge of the front panel. A little browning to the front and rear free endpapers which also have light tape marks from a now removed plastic cover over the jacket. Light browning to the page edges but the pages are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has very slight chipping at the top of the spine and some rubbing to the corners with a small patch of tape residue to the reverse at the top of the spine. Nice bright colouring to the striking illustration on the front panel. Spine has the green and yellow design used by Collins for later impressions of their mysteries.
