Interaction between text and photography, reflecting a tumultuous period of Mexican history through Xavier Meade's perspective. 36 color offsets printed recto-verso. In a documentary-like approach, Optica shows a fragmented reality. Photographs captured in urban spaces and rural territories create a visual language where images are transformed into images of thought. Texts by Carlosol Meade and Hastatrás Denada address death, ecology, workers' rights, and state violence. The avant-garde layout features bright color highlights and subtly references indigenous traditions through numbering plates in Mayan numerals composed of dots and bars. From the edition limited to 500 copies. One of the few copies signed by Xavier Meade in ink and pencil. According to the artist, no more than 5 copies were made. Editorial Universitaria, Macchi Hnos, Buenos Aires 1956. Tapa dura, plena tela, buen estado general, con algún desgaste en el borde derecho de las cubierta, como se ve en las fotografías, roce que no afecta la pieza en lo más mínimo. Son 285 páginas sobre unas dimensiones de 23 x 16 cm. Pida video o más fotos del ejemplar. Firmado por el autor.
