Ex-libris of Darwin bibliographer, Richard…Freeman, with his notations on the provenance of the book to the front pastedown. Author's inscription on the ffep. A tightly bound, bright copy. The author has inscribed this copy, with thanks, to J. J. Walker on November 24th, 1909; Freeman notes that "Commander J.J.Walker was a distinguished amateur entomologist who worked in the Hope Department until his death late 193[9]". A wonderful copy with an interesting provenance.
