. Illustrateur : CHANOT (Claude). (illustrator). Collage et mine de plomb signée en bas à droite, 2000, 28.5 x 17 cm., encadrée. Claude Chanot est un peintre français, né en 1942, parisien de souche. Élève de l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, des ateliers Rohner et Chappelin-Midi, il choisit la peinture, tout en restant marqué par la décoration. Il intègre l'atelier la section d'Or, où il est élève de Jean Souverbie. De nombreux voyages, notamment en Italie et en Asie, viennent compléter sa formation. Il a participé depuis 1978 à de nombreux salons et expositions de groupes ou personnelles. Il a illustré plusieurs livres, dont notamment Le Prince. Cette femme en Dim-up, coiffée du chef des fous, se meut, gracieuse, sur un char. Oeuvre originale.
