Andrejevic Kuna depicting the daily struggles of life and death fought by the Yugoslav partisans during the Nazi occupation of their land (1941-1944). Led by Yugoslav revolutionary Josip Broz Tito, the Yugoslav Partisans or the National Liberation Army, was Europe's most effective anti-Axis resistance movement during World War II, often compared to the Polish and French resistance movements. Each plate measures either 8 1/4 x 10 7/8" or 10 7/8 x 8 1/4". Some age wear to portfolio with right inside flap detached but present, head and tail of spine chipped, and minor and sporadic creasing and sunning. Plates slightly and evenly age-toned.
