Former owner's 1954 dated name above a neatly taped-on magazine clipping about this book to the inside front cover, slight age-toning to the inner hinge areas as usual, lower corner tip lightly bumped, else square, firm, and very good plus to near fine in fresh mustard-yellow linen with black Cock Robin Mystery insignia to the front cover and with black embossed titles to the spine; in a very good plus to near fine dust jacket with delightful detective character parody art by Mircea Vasiliu, with slight age-toning to the spine panel, and with a one-inch creased tear, with clear-tape reinforcing to the verso, to the upper rear panel; original printed $2.75 price still intact to the front inner flap. The jacket will be placed in a clear, removable protective sleeve, after photographing for this entry.
