Hardcover in orig. box. Condition: Sehr gut. 144 p. "Path in Between" is a deeply personal and acclaimed photobook by Hajime Kimura, developed under the mentorship and curation of Yumi Goto. The project explores Kimura's complex relationship with his father, a man he felt he barely knew despite living under the same roof. Through a mix of contemporary photographs, archival family snapshots, and documents, Kimura traces his father's past and his own childhood memories. The "path" in the title refers to the emotional and physical distance between father and son - a gap Kimura seeks to bridge through the act of photographing and sequencing. It is a masterful example of the "handmade" photobook movement, where the physical structure of the book itself mirrors the layers of memory and discovery. "Path in Between" (Special Edition) is an ultra-limited collector's set by Hajime Kimura, published by LArtiere in 2016. Housed in a bespoke cardboard clamshell box, this edition is limited to only 25 signed copies and features an original photograph mounted on the cover of the box.
