Fine-looking, structurally sound hardcover homage to the work of the Sante Fe-based painter and sculptor, Patrick McFarlin. Little discernible wear to the glossy, colorful pictorial covers, bright interior, unmarked. Bound in square quarto format, with title on spine. Unpaginated, but roughly 80 pp., replete with full-color works, and complete with list of exhibitions from 1969 to 2012, solo and group. The blurb about him at his publisher's web-site describes McFarlin as "A self taught Arkansan, except for brief stints at Memphis Academy of Arts and California College of Arts and Crafts. As a southern teenager he used Art News? ?Tworkov paints a Picture, etc.? as a launching pad to produce brushy portraits." Upon marrying Deborah Madison in 1990 they moved to New Mexico and where he began to focus on western landscapes.He revisited the portrait brush in the nineties, falling into an open salon way-of-working known as Pat?s Downtown Club.
