Schulz, Charles M. Stay With It, Snoopy. 1977 collection of comic strips featuring characters from the widely influential newspaper series Peanuts, signed by creator Charles M. Schulz. Schulz emerged as one of the most significant figures in twentieth century American cartooning through the long running Peanuts comic strip, which began in 1950 and became internationally recognized for its distinctive characters and understated humor. The strip's central figures, including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, and Linus, became enduring icons of American popular culture and were distributed through hundreds of newspapers worldwide. This volume gathers a selection of strips centered on Snoopy, the imaginative beagle whose alter ego fantasies and interactions with the other characters formed one of the defining narrative elements of the series. Schulz, Charles M. Stay With It, Snoopy. New York: Fawcett Crest, 1977. Signed and inscribed by Charles M. Schulz on the front inside cover, "For Amy, Charles M. Schulz." Paperback edition measuring approximately 4 x 7 inches. By the 1970s Peanuts had become one of the most widely syndicated comic strips in the world, shaping the visual language of American newspaper comics and influencing later generations of cartoonists and animators. The strip's combination of philosophical humor, childhood anxieties, and imaginative storytelling helped expand the cultural significance of the newspaper comic strip beyond simple humor into a broader reflection on modern life. Signed volumes of Peanuts collections provide tangible connections to Schulz's work during the height of the strip's international popularity. Minor wear to the covers consistent with handling. Overall condition very good. Signed.
