Hardcover. Condition: Good. First Edition. Hardcover set with brown pebble covered boards. While the gold design and lettering are faded, it is still readable. Internally, Clean, has a good binding, no marks or notations. This is the original Five volume set published in 1939. A classic with period illustrations throughout. Books measure 7.5 inches tall by 5 inches deep and have approximately 125 pages per volume.
