(illustrator). 1st Edition. 44 pages with line drawings to each page & 6 full page colour plates, also pictorial endpapers and illustrated glazed paper boards. Some wear to corners, cloth spine intact and no repairs, some age browning to endpapers contents ideal for a child to colour in and have NOT been. The contents have been lightly handled and only one page with thumb prints at edge and one with a little browning. Very Good. Slim quarto an Edwardian period book c1908-11. Scarce. *1 copy located in the Australia, none in the UK. No copies appear listed in the British Library Cat or any other institutional libraries in the UK (Copac Listings). One of the artist early commissions and a forerunner to her dumpy knee children illustrations she drew through the 1920's and 30's. The BL hold 25 titles by her but not this.
