Softcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition. 15mm tears to inner margin near staples of covers and all leaves. Chips and tears to blank margins of a few leaves. Chip extending 3mm into printed area of final illustrated leaf. Inside of front cover has "Phantom No 32" in ink and a small clipping of the phantom pasted in by previous owner, and a star design rubber stamp. Chip to margin of rear cover. Ink arithmetic on rear cover. 50mm tear with adhesive tape repair to rear cover. A couple of rubber stamps on rear cover: "R D" on inside of rear cover, and a small decorative stamp on the outside of the rear cover beneath the publisher's imprint. Some foxing. ; Early New Zealand edition of "The Phantom" comic. 20 pages including covers. Cover in portrait format, while the contents are in landscape format. Page dimensions: 246x 189mm.
