Softcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition. Lacking rear cover, a makeshift cover supplied. Yellowing adhesive tape repairs across spine. 45mm tear to one leaf. Inside of front cover has a small clipping of the phantom pasted in by previous owner, "Phantom No. 38." written in ink, and a star design rubber stamp.; Early New Zealand edition of "The Phantom" comic. Published fortnightly. 18 pages including front cover, lacking the rear cover. Makeshift rear cover taped on, with the publisher's imprint handwritten "Published by Feature Productions [. . .]" Cover in portrait format, while the contents are in landscape format. Page dimensions: 246 x 184mm. This issue contains the third of three parts of the story "The White Monkey," and the first of three parts of the story "The Gray Gang."
