Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good. 1st Edition. First English language edition, first printing. 344pp. Purple cloth-covered boards with gilt decoration and black lettering. 8vo. Cloth slightly bruised at spine heel; upper text block edge dust spotted; a hint of toning on free endpapers else volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. In its original glossy dust wrapper, shelf worn and a little toned around edges, slightly rubbed on edges. Progress Publishers was a Moscow-based Soviet, and later Russian, publisher founded in 1931.
