No. 28 of a limit of 200 copies. Illustrated by three brothers, George Wooliscroft, Frederick and Louis Rhead, each distinguished artists. Lik…ely signed by George Wooliscroft Rhead. Embellished with over 120 designs. Large brown cloth 8vo with ornate gilt border and lettering on front board and gilt lettering and motif on backstrip. Two large splits in backstrip joints and a couple more an inch or so long. Bumped corners, and fraying to backstrip ends. Front board loose. Gilt patterned end papers. Frontispiece with tissue guard. Pages are illustrated and decorative. Complete. Interior is secure and clean. Untrimmed with gilt top edge. The school's emblem on cover in gilt "Crescent House School Brighton" with their motto. Marble endpapers and foredges. With 100 illustrations by Frederick Bar…nard and others, engraved by Dalziel Brothers. Spine is sun faded. Two bookplates on front endpapers for Clayton W. McCall and Abel E. Berland. There are some black ink marks to the back cover.
