Flexible Boards. Condition: Good. Good, as noted. See scans and description. New York: Little Leather Library Corporation, undated but circa 1921. 48mo - a miniature book, 3 7/8" tall; green and copper flexible leatherette boards, 95 pp. Just Good; edge chipping at both covers, textblock signatures are loose within binding (no doubt addressable with some spots of binding glue), standard age-toning to the endpapers. Contents are quite bright and almost un-toned, and the amount of copper-color remaining in the copper-and-green binding is quite good; these little pieces often started out without much of the copper color. Zoom on scans. The Redcroft edition of the Little Leather Library series of promotional miniatures. All of those miniatures from LLL would have been viewed as ephemera at the time. Scarce now. Pippa Passes is an 1841 verse-drama by Robert Browning, in which "A young, blameless silk-winding girl is wandering innocently through the environs of Asolo, in her mind attributing kindness and virtue to the people she passes". Ruh-roh. For the collector of miniatures, literature, or ephemera. See all scans. LSMPH2.
