Plates from his "De la Distribution des Maisons de Plaisance et de la Décorations des Edifices en Général" (Paris 1737-8). Copper engravings by Pierre Soubeyran from drawings by Charles-Nicolas Cochin. Half-calf leather binding, with marbling on front and back. Raised bands on leather spine, with gilt "Blondel" and "1738" embossed on spine. Front and rear end papers probably hand-marbled.
