A beautifully bound poetry collection of the poetical works of Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774), Tobias Smollett (1721-1771), Samuel Johnson (1709-1784) and William Shenstone (1714-1763), with brief biographies of each poet. This collection includes works such as 'The Deserted Village', 'The Hermit', and 'The Captivity'. In a full morocco binding. Externally smart, with a small bump to the front board and a little rubbing to the extremities. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for the odd spot and handling mark to the first and last couple of pages. Very Good Indeed. book.
