Hardcover. Condition: Good. First edition. First American edition, good red cloth hardcover (no dust jacket) shows bumping to bottom corners, touch of rubbing and soil to covers, foxing to top page edges, paper residue at both front and rear pastedowns, name and date at front endpaper, along with paper remnants at top of front endpaper that looks to be the top of a pasted in check out list for previate library but their are no othe rlibrary indicators. 271 pages. Still a solid and perfectly readable copy of this later Inspector Pointer mystery from the noted British author.
