    Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. True first British printing. No jacket. Edited by John Hayward. Blue boards with (faded) red lettering to spine and red lettering to front are good with minor pushing/bumping to corners, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd small mark, odd small bump/rub to edges and a little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Inside boards/end-papers tanned with the odd small mark/spot of foxing. Pages little tanned. Top of pages slightly dusty. Previous owner's name and date in pen to front end-paper. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

Jacket has faults - namely edge/shelf wear, a little patchy loss (mainly to head/tail of spine and to corners), creasing/rubbing to edges, patchy browning (including severely to spine), a few small marks, few small (approx. 5mms) tears, pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, pushing/bumping to corners, the odd spot of foxing, a little creasing/rubbing/browning to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with minor patchy browning (including to spine), a hint of pushing to corners, the odd minor bump/rub to edges, the odd very small mark and minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages bit tanned. Small bookseller's name stamp to front end-paper. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Inside boards/end-papers tanned. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages.No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
