Paperback. Condition: Very Good. Nine page photocopy (printed on rectos only), 8.5 x 11", 389-(397). Light creasing and toning. Stapled to the photocopy are two items: a newspaper clipping regarding an appearance by Tom Hayden at the Free Press-Library Co-operative of Macomb Book Author Luncheon, torn and toned. The second item is four page program for the event (July 12, 1988), toned and spotted, with a photo of Hayden and a mini bio. The "Port Huron Statement" was written during a June 1962 retreat in Port Huron, Michigan, it served as the founding maifesto for the Students for a Democratic Society. SWAF. SIGNED BY TOM HAYDEN, A FOUNDER OF THE STUDENTS FOR A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY, ON THE FIRST PAGE OF "THE PORT HURON STATEMENT, INTRODUCTION".
