Stapled to the photocopy are two items: a newspaper clipping regarding an appearance by Tom Hayden at the Free Press-Library Co-operative of Macomb Book Author Luncheon, torn and toned. The second item is four page program for the event (July 12, 1988), toned and spotted, with a photo of Hayden and a mini bio. The "Port Huron Statement" was written during a June 1962 retreat in Port Huron, Michigan, it served as the founding maifesto for the Students for a Democratic Society. SWAF.
