No Binding. Condition: Fair. Portrait of Blaise Pascal. Born 19 June 1623 in Clermont-Ferrand, France. Died 19 August 1662 in Paris, France. Steel engraving, and Stipple engraving by E. Mathieu (fl. 19thC), after Julien-Leopold Boilly (1796-1874), c. 1835. Reasonable condition. Paper a bit browned and slightly soiled. Some faint spotting and minor, small staining. Verso: blank. Note: in a very nice contemporary handcolouring. With the original piece of tissue paper and a printed biography on 8 pages (paper with stains). Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf. Dimensions: 263 x 167 mm. Blaise Pascal was Writer, Philosopher, Theologian, Mathematician, Inventor, Physicist, Moralist, Catholic Theologian, and Statistician. c. 1835. Print.
