The poster purports to show work from 'A Human Document' (i.e. 'A Humument') but Phillips has added a note in pencil: 'not by me', which he has initialled. Either the stock is rather evenly toned at the front or the colouration is deliberate; that aside, horizontal fold (quite mild now) and other light creasing, a patch of soiling to the lower corner on the left, and somewhat marked on the reverse. This example comes from Phillips' collection. Signed.
