No Binding. Condition: Very Good. This informal portrait photograph of James Farley shows the Postmaster General from the waist up, arms folded across his chest, lips tensed as if he's trying not to smile. He stands in an office amidst desks strewn with papers, numerous framed items bedeck the walls behind him. James A. Farley served as United States Postmaster General (1933-1940) under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He also was Roosevelt's campaign manager for his gubernatorial and presidential campaigns. Farley served as Chair of the Democratic National Committee (1932-1940) and was chairman of Coca Cola International for over thirty years. In green ink, Farley has written: "To Jules Greenberg All good wishes James A Farley". Image size: 8 1/4" x 7 1/2". Overall: 10" x 8". Condition: Slight feathering of inscription, otherwise very good condition with a large, bold signature.
