Bound in rich, forest-green faux leather with bright gilt border and Harvard Classics colophon on cover and gilt lettered, decorative spine. GIFT QUALITY COLLECTIBLE. Quiet Companion has 10+ volumes in this "five foot shelf of books". Most have copyright date 1937 or 1938, and include the number 172 beneath the notation "Manufactured in U.S.A.".
