Plaquette publicitaire illustrant les bas nylons commercialisés par le célèbre cabaret Tabarin de New York chez Saks sur la cinquième avenue. Les bas Tabarins s'adapte à différents situations, la pluie, le restaurant, le spectacle, la couture. Marcel VERTES (Ujpest 1895-1961 Paris) est un artiste d'origine hongroise, illustrateur, graveur, aquarelliste, décorateur. Il s'exila en France suite à la publication d'affiches politiques satiriques pendant la première guerre mondiale. Il collabora à l'illustration de nombreuses revues (Fantasio, Le Témoin, La Vie Parisienne, La Gazette du Bon Ton.). Pendant la Seconde Guerre Mondiale il s'exila à New-York et dès lors partagera sa vie entre les deux capitales (Dico Solo, 873-874). Salissure à la couverture. Livres.
