The gilt lettering on the spine is perfectly bright and unworn. The edges and corners and spine ends are all in excellent shape. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout. These pages are in beautiful condition. They too are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I didn't find any soiling at all. I didn't see any creasing. There are no markings. There are no attachments. And with the exception of Mr. Bailey's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. The dust jacket is in excellent condition as well. It is perfectly clean. The only wear I see is minor, a little crinkling at the top edge of the spine and one small indent on the spine. The flaps look terrific, perfectly clean and unworn. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. The original cost of the book was $45.00 (Unsigned!).
