Oxford, John Henry Parker, 1841, in-8°, (iii) + 254 pp, ca. 100 ills., half leather, gilt decorated and raised spine, tipped-in on first paste-down ; an engraved ex-libris of Edward Seymour Foster, Oriel College Oxford. The author, 1805-1888, was the original source of the story about the invention of rugby. His statue (as an archaeologist) is to be found in Rugby library.
