The Danish artist Karen Lis Jacobsen (1905-1989) was mainly… occupied with zoological motives and made several travels in Egypt, where she found inspiration for exhibitions and book projects, such as the present, which revolves around the princess tomb in Sakkarah. The book was issued in just 50 copies, and is inscribed by Jacobsen in pencil on front wrapper: "Till Hanna / hjerteligst fra / Karen".
