Blue cloth with gilt letters nn the spine and with the logo stamped in gilt on the front cover of the Bross Library, Lake Forest College. Wear to extremities with two corners just worn through, top and bottom of spine showing signs of want to fray, rubber stamp of selling store on front and rear endpapers, residue from removal of previous owner's bookplate on front pastedown, cover gilt slightly dulled, spine gilt bright, foxing to fore-edge but not internally, else very good to near fine with no internal markings. James Orr [1844-1913] was Professor of Appologetics and Systematic Theology in the United Free Church College, Glasgow the this book won the Bross Prize for 1905.
