Hardcover. Condition: Fair. First Edition, First Printing. 260p. A hardcover book in good+ condition with a very good dustjacket. Head of spine lightly bumped. Owner's stamps on front endpaper and title page. Marginalia in the last couple of chapters, but rest of text clean, and binding tight. The jacket is mildly shelf-worn, but intact. Theological papers from an Anglo-French symposium held at the Abbey of Notre-Dame du Bec. Includes a chapter by Yves Congar, "The Historical Development of Authority in the Church: Points for Reflection.".
