Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, tan cloth boards decorated in black and gilt. Exterior shows spotting and soiling spine is sunned. Edges and corners show bumps/minor wear. The book would normally grade as VG- to VG but there are several sections of pages that are detached. Ea…ch section still has the original staples present, so it's basically two booklets, and not a lot of loose pages. The remaining binding is very good, no hinge issues at boards and the remaining pages are tight. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting etc. Pages are toned due to age and there is foxing present. There are actually three quadrants of the pages that are detached, but two of whom are still attached together. This should not be a complicated repair, though there is evidence that someone tried to reglue it in the past. Once these are realigned and reattached to the binding this would easily grade as a higher condition.
