The lavish production at Philadelphia's Metropolitan Opera House opened on Oct. 4, 1926. Designed by Norman Bel Geddes and directed by Max Reinhardt, it starred Diana Manners (1892-1986) (Lady Diana Olivia Winifred Maud Cooper, Vicountess Norwich) and Iris Tree (1897-1968). Scarce. In Very Good Condition: cover is lightly soiled; upper edge of front cover is slightly chipped; lightly creased; clean and solid.
