The verso has a list of the cast for the Poppea in which Bible has the role of Octavia, wife to Nero, Frances Lillian Bible (1919- 2001) was an American operatic mezzo-soprano who had a thirty-year long career at the New York City Opera between 1948 and 1978. Saintine war ein ungewöhnlich produktiver Dramatiker, der an rund 200 Theaterstücken als alleiniger oder Mitautor beteiligt war, zumeist unter dem Pseudonym Xavier mit Eugène Scribe oder anderen Autoren aus dessen Schreibwerkstatt.
