Contents, briefly: T.S. Eliot on his brands of Christianity and of poetry, and another essay on contrasts between Eliot and Milton; Austen's Emma; Tolstoy; Flannery O'Connor; Kawabata's Thousand Cranes; two translated Chinese stories (Lao She and Shen Tsung-Wen).
