Not long ago I was taking a day seminar on understanding eating disorders and one of the organisers was someone who had faithfully prayed for me throughout my fight to beat anorexia. She had not seen me since those days! It seemed so strange to meet her as an adult and as someone on the same wavelength, when my memories were of me as a fearful and distant teenager and her as an older woman who was a part of what I thought was a 'fuddy-duddy' group who prayed for me! At the time I felt awkward and did not think their prayers would do anything. Here I was, standing before her as evidence that God heard and God healed.
