Hansberry also appears on page 105 in a group portrait of the school's debate forum. Another nationally known author appearing in these pages is Sam Greenlee on page 55; he has not signed this yearbook. Bound in publisher's original padded leatherette embossed pictorial cloth stamped in gilt. Although she does not appear here in the rolls of the school's drama club, Hansberry was just 11 years away from being the first Black woman to have a play produced on Broadway. One of an edition of 60 copies printed in black, purple and red on Somerset Satin White 300gsm deckle-edged paper, this copy being a printer s proof, with handwritten in pencil beneath image left to centre by the artist: 'Alasdair Gray 9.9.2008 Printer s Proof'.
