Published Barrie and Rockliff, London, 1969; tall 8vo, 167 x 267mm; pp [iv], 165-248 and six pages of photographic plates of paintings or script; card wrappers printed in black and red; covers with some dust or other soiling, pages lightly browned at the edges, internally sewn and firm and overall a reasonable copy. . . . . . X was first published in 1959 and lasted until 1962. It was conceived as a literary and arts magazine with the aim of offering " . the real thing, the production of the individual vision . ". This issue contains writing by Robert Graves, Hans Gomperts, Patrick Kavanagh, André Masson and others. . . . . . NOTE that as the booklet is light it can be sent as a large letter at reduced cost and hence a reduction will be made against postage.

Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. July 1962. Off white coloured card covers with red and black titles to all panels. Covers and spine lightly sunned and discoloured with a small stain to rear panel. Otherwise textblock and illustrations clean tight and bright. A very nice copy.
