Fourteen pieces: 12 postcards are colour-printed, 1 on linen, 1 embossed chromo w/ gilt lettering added, 1 w/ scalloped edges on linen, all split-backs, 5 w/ manuscript mailing & postmarks on versos (1 stamp removed); 13 -- [16 pp (unpaginated).], of black & white printed postcards leporello accordion-style one continuous strip, mounted in folding colour-printed mailing cover (minor edgewear, dustsoiling); 14 -- die-cut photo-printed card sized 2.5 x 3.25 in. w/ portrait superimposed on PG&C building (some w/ thumbing, minor edgewear), still VG grouping. First editions of this group of postcards celebrating the early two decades of the popular Portland Rose Festival, organized kicked off by a speech by Mayor Harry Lane in 1905 at the Lewis & Clark Exposition, and in 1907 featured a festival with parade, and an electric parade with elaborate illuminated floats atop flat cars on Portland trolleys.
