RAAF Log is the Christmas book for 1943 in which readers will discover the story of the air in Australia and abroad during World War Two, but also a number of literary and other contributions made by various Australian RAAF pilots. RAAF Log does not pretend to be a complete tale of the achievements of the RAAF in 1943 but provides a broad outline of the developments of the air battle of that year.Includes full colour illustrations as well as black and white illustrations and black and white photographs. Blue cloth covered with dark blue printing to the front, the cloth does have some discolouration to to the edges and has some fraying to the bottom front right hand corner. It comes with it's original paper dust jacket which has been backed with plain paper and is in a plastic dustjacket saver to preserve it. There is considerable paper loss to the spine and signs of foxing. There is a 1.5cm long and 2cm, at it's widest point patch of paper loss to the top of the spine, a 3.5cm long and approximately 0.5 cm wide area of paper loss to the front edge of the spine and a 1cm long and 1cm wide approximately area of paper loss at the bottom of the spine.
