Black Peril and the Raid listed as "new in the Ace series" Spine is faded, corners a little bumped and there is an owner ink signature on the front free endpaper. There is some faxing to the prelims. Contains 5 stories including a Biggles ; The Ace Of Spades. Specifications appear to match the Bodleian Library archive 1st edition copy. The boards are orange with black titles with the John Hamilton sundial to the heel of the spine. At the front of the book there is a list of 4 of Johns non-fiction books, 5 Biggles books plus the books Wings and Spyflyers to make a total of eleven titles . There is a 30 page undated catalogue at the rear headed 'Aviation General'. The first book listed is Max Immelmann - Eagle of Lille. There is an advert from John Hamilton on the rear pastedown of the book. Provided a colour photocopy of a jacket.
